Environment and Social Performance Tool

Environment and Social Performance Tool

Professional development courses available in the field of Environment and Social Performance in the resources sector

Enhance your skills to sustainably position the minerals industry in society with AusIMM's free Environment and Social Performance Tool.

We have identified global environment and social performance training courses, programs and guidelines that can support your development as a Social Performance and Environment practitioner.

AusIMM member, Social Performance Professional Bruce Harvey FAusIMM(CP) has led the development of this tool.

On the purpose of the tool, Bruce said, "There are many university degrees available that provide candidates with a wide range of entry-level options, however most of these courses lack specific resource-sector orientation."

"Furthermore, most university graduates these days simply do not want to work in the resources sector. That is why it is important there are resource-oriented short courses available for the career path development of those that do."

The tool was commissioned by the AusIMM Social and Environment Society Committee, delivered in conjunction with the University of Queensland.
