Since 1989, the Education Endowment Fund Scholarship has been committed to supporting the future of mining professionals by providing financial aid, mentorship and elevated professional development experiences.
Premium Undergraduate Scholarships
The EEF scholarships for undergraduate students are available to Australian citizens and permanent residents enrolled in mining-related programs at Australian universities. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are eager to achieve their best, develop leadership qualities, and expand their knowledge and network within the resources industry.
Mentor program
Scholars are matched with an industry mentor tailored to their talents, aptitude, and interests, valued at $5,000.
Annual cash grant
Scholars receive significant financial support of up to $11,000 annually throughout their studies.
Annual field trip
Scholars attend an all expenses paid one-week intensive field trip to a mineral rich region.
Support that opens doors
Scholars will engage with the Institute and it's branches establishing networks and professional associations that will endure beyond academic pursuits and help propel their career path.

Postgraduate Research Scholarships
The EEF postgraduate scholarships are available to Australian citizens and permanent residents who are pursuing postgraduate research in the resources field.
*Please note that the final monetary amount may vary based on other scholarships and stipend values, capped at a maximum of $50,000 (all-inclusive).
Annual cash grant
Scholars receive significant financial support of up to $25,000* per annum. This support can extend for up to three calendar years.

Postgraduate scholars will connect with AusIMM's professional network and community, gaining access to valuable industry relationships and opportunities that support both their research focus and long-term career ambitions.
