Most of us understand the importance of production and many of us believe that safety is important and others even say that safety is the number one priority. However, words are easy, effective action is what is required to transform safety words into meaningful and successful outcomes.
Our speaker for this session is passionate about the effort required to transform words into action. George Bauk has been part of the dramatic shift in safety performance within our industry over the past 30 years. Today, he speaks about his journey of safety discovery from being a shop floor employee to holding the legal obligations of a Managing Director. It is his story, a journey of self-realisation, acceptance of responsibility and an authenticity to care for others.
George understands the business imperative to deliver production performance and safety. You can’t be successful with one and not the other and as he says, “it’s simply not negotiable”.
