Main Speaker: Nicole Galloway Warland, Managing Director, Thor Mining Plc

Topic: A green approach to extracting copper-and gold at Alford East, South Australia

Summary: Nicole will be explaining the approach taken by Thor Mining to complete technical studies on a large copper oxide copper with by product gold, using In-Situ Recovery techniques. In this way both farming and mining can mutually coexist and the South Australian State exploit large copper resources that were previously thought to be uneconomic.

The talk will be of interest equally to geologists, metallurgists and engineers. Government representatives may also be interested in the talk.

The event will also feature student presentations from Zarin Tasnem and Dana Imbrogno.
