Careers Roadshow – Enabling A Sustainable Future
The New Zealand Branch is proud to present a career roadshow to be delivered to students at New Zealand Universities showcasing the diverse and rewarding careers available in the minerals industry.
About this event
The voices of the roadshow are young professionals already in the industry. They are graduates who are generally around 3-5 years into their careers and relatable to university student audiences. Their stories are authentic and their passion for what they do and why they do it is impressive.
New Zealand Branch Chair, Michael Gazley will present at these events along with our young professionals appearing on pre-recorded videos, and in person. There are diverse roles and diverse stories, and many insights into their chosen career paths.
Our theme is ‘Enabling a Sustainable Future’ and whether its minerals, aggregates, or fertilisers, we are hearing about how essential these materials are to sustain our future society.
Our aim is to showcase the ‘World of Opportunities’ within the industry such that university students rule this in as an option they can give serious consideration.
