Blackstone Minerals from Mining Exploration to Lithiation – “GREEN Nickel” - Live Stream
The presentation will focus on the development of Blackstone Minerals (BSX) flagship Ta Khoa Nickel PGE (Cu, Co) Project in Vietnam.
About this event
In 2019, Blackstone shifted focus to the exploration and development of critical battery minerals to meet the demand for green power technology. Blackstone acquired an existing underground nickel sulphide mining operation in Son La, Northern Vietnam and commenced an extensive exploration program in Northern Vietnam, identifying multiple massive sulphide drill targets.
In 2020, EcoPro, South Korea’s largest lithium ion cathode producer became a strategic partner with BSX to secure a nickel supply. BSX undertook a scoping study to identify a preferred downstream processing flowsheet to produce an enhanced end product for battery manufacturers.
Blackstone Minerals is an emerging “Green Nickel™” production company to supply battery precursor chemicals to global battery manufacturers.
