Webinar: A Practical PFAS Response Strategy and Lessons Learned

1
PD Hours
PFAS contamination has gained media attention in the last decade and poses a reputational and/or community outrage risk to large operators.

About this event

Drawing on the lessons learned from other organisations, it is apparent that it is not necessarily the organisation’s actual contribution to PFAS contamination that is likely to create community outrage, rather it is the perceived lack of response, particularly if that organisation knew about PFAS contamination but did not inform key stakeholders.

This Webinar will provide a 30 minute practical presentation on understanding an organisation’s contribution to PFAS contamination and its associated risk, developing a response strategy, and converting strategy into executable action across multiple jurisdictions in Australia.

It will cover stakeholder engagement, phase-out of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) containing PFAS, methodical contaminated sites assessment strategy for a large portfolio of sites and PFAS related R&D.

An additional 15 minute Q&A session will enable participants to directly engage with presenters and maximise the value of the Webinar experience.
