Webinar: CSIRO’s STEM Professionals in Schools Program
Australia has long identified a need to increase the number of people entering STEM professions to address the ongoing skill shortages and skill requirements of the future.
About this event
In response to this need and after two years of research, WIMnet Victoria has chosen to support the CSIRO STEM Professionals in Schools Program.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) skills are critical to building the Australian workforce of the future.
Julie McClements of the CSIRO will discuss how STEM professional volunteers are inspiring students, increasing teacher capability and improving the understanding of STEM career pathways by bringing real Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths into the classroom.
We invite you to join our webinar on Wednesday, 5 May, 2021 to discover how you can make a contribution to Australia’s future via the CSIRO’s STEM Professionals in Schools Program.
