April tech talk: Navigating the opportunities and challenges of decarbonising the mining sector
Join the Sydney Branch for their April tech talk: Navigating the opportunities and challenges of decarbonising the mining sector.
About this event
The rapid rate of change across both State and Federal policy and increasing stakeholder expectations has boosted the requirement to integrate decarbonisation into mining.
While industry is moving in the right direction, more is required to meet targets and regulation. Decarbonisation pathway planning will be vital to develop the lowest cost approach.
This session will discuss the challenges and opportunities unique to coal and metals, as well as greenfields and existing operations.
It will also discuss the opportunities to electrify operations using existing technologies, how to plan for integration of future tech, and key considerations for electrification.
Very topical and an evening not to be missed.
