Boots and Bubbles - Regional site tour and networking function
Join WIMnet Victoria for their October event: Boots and Bubbles - Regional site visit and networking function.
About this event
Join WIMnet Vic for our Victorian Regional Event - a technical presentation on the application of drone technology at Agnico Eagle’s Fosterville Gold Mine (FGM) at 2.00pm, then join us at 4.30pm to hear guest presenter Georgina Carnegie share her insights into strategies for success at The Rifle Brigade Hotel (whether you attended the site tour or not).
As the largest gold producer in the state of Victoria, Australia, the Fosterville mine is a high-grade, low-cost underground gold mine, located 20 km from the city of Bendigo and 130 km north of the city of Melbourne. The Fosterville mine features highly-profitable gold production, as well as extensive in-mine and district-scale exploration potential.
Meet us at 2.00pm in FGM’s group parking facility, on the Huntly Fosterville Road (map included in confirmation email). After boarding the bus we will travel to the top of McCormick’s Waste Dump where we will discuss and observe the application of drone technology; gain unique insights into rock mechanics and learn how Agnico Eagle have embraced diversity and inclusion on their modern mining operation. Get in quick, numbers are limited for the technical tour!
Whether you attended the site visit or not... Come join us afterwards for some bubbles and canapes from 4.45pm at The Rifle Brigade Hotel located at 137 View St, Bendigo VIC 3550.
Our speaker is deeply respected Independent Investment Management Professional, Georgina Carnegie, who will be sharing her insights into strategies to convert brilliant ideas into a successful business.
