Webinar: Limbic risk - Your brain at work
Join the Health and Safety Society for their October webinar: Limbic risk - Your brain at work.
About this event
Whilst organisations place a lot of effort and investment towards safety performance through risk management practices, why do incidents still occur?
This webinar is based on the Jonah Group’s hugely successful Limbic Safety Program. We will focus on the human factors that lead to errors and how to recognise and interrupt moments that can cause an incident or near-miss. It will include extracts from their ‘Limbic Byte’ toolbox topics on limbic risk, and specifically on complacency, along with practical examples of what we can do to prevent unsafe events.
In this webinar, we will:
- Understand the meaning of ‘being human’ and what that can cause.
- Explore the brain and why the ways we are wired to function lead to errors.
- Recognise the signs that create greater risk for us and the traps we fall into.
Webinar time: 3.00pm - 4.30pm AEDT
