About this event
Five undergraduate and post-graduate students from the University of Wollongong and the Australian National University will present the results of their thesis.
The topics for this year will include:
- Assessing the potential of low pressure sequestration of drained gas to reduce coal mine GHG emissions;
- Innovations in Stope Blasting Techniques: Assessing the Benefits of Sill Holes for Underbreak Mitigation and Improved Fragmentation in Toes;
- Effective Dilution Control in Stoping Operations: Best Practices and Case Studies.
The students presenting at this year’s event will include Jovan Ristevski, Jack Walsh and Braydon Haskett.
The thesis presentations will be followed by a provided group dinner.
