MetFest! Orange 2025
Join the Lachlan Branch for MetFest! Orange 2025 - Celebrating 10 years of collaboration, innovation and networking in the Central West of NSW.
About this event
MetFest has become an iconic event in regional calendars, bringing together teams of regional metallurgists, process engineers and other associated professionals for a unique day of networking and professional development.
In 2025, we are celebrating 10 years of MetFest events in the central west of NSW and bringing it back to where it all began, Orange NSW; with Cadia as our host site.
MetFest Orange will commence with optional pre-event tours on the Thursday: A site visit to Cadia Gold Mine and a winery tour. This will be followed by a day of technical talks on Friday, on the practicalities of operating a concentrator, technical wins (or losses) and project work on-going within our region, as well as the 2025 AusIMM Metallugical Society G D Delprat Lecture with speaker Aidan Giblett.
The technical talks will be held at Banksia Orange, an exclusive event venue nestled amidst vineyards and rolling hills, with a menu tailored by executive chef Dom Aboud.
Dont miss the opportunity to connect with industry peers in a relaxed and friendly environment. as we celebrate a decade of metallurgical collaboration.
