Jessica Nicholls brings a wealth of experience from her journey spanning roles in Australia and the UK. From her early career at Golder Associates, where she tackled diverse environmental challenges, to her recent leadership role at Glencore, Jessica has navigated various roles and continents, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities.
Having recently joined ICMM as the lead for water and closure, Jessica will share insights into her career journey, discussing:

Jessica Nicholls
Jessica brings a breadth of experience in land and water stewardship and joins us from her previous role with Glencore where she was responsible for delivering mine closure, rehabilitation and long-term environmental planning projects across Glencore’s zinc assets in Australia. She has also previously worked for Golder Associates across the disciplines of mine water hydrogeology and contaminated land where she was able to work on a diverse range of projects and environmental challenges.
Jessica completed her MSc in Surveying and Land/Environmental Management at Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter and holds a BSc (Hons.) in Geology from the University of Southampton.
