June Tech Talk - Recent Changes in the Queensland Mines Department
Resources Safety and Health Queensland - RSHQ, is the subject of AusIMM tech talk which was to be held in April and has now been rescheduled to June 2021.
About this event
The title is "RSHQ: A new agency to regulate safety and health in the Queensland Mining Industry."
On 1st July 2020, RSHQ was formed by an Act of State Parliament which separated it from the Queensland Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, which was in turn renamed the Queensland Department of Natural Resources.
As an AusIMM North Queensland Branch committee member, RSHQ Northern Region's Senior Inspector of Mines, Cameron Skinner, has offered to speak on the subject.
