Join AusIMM and AIG for the Sydney hosted: Draft JORC Code - Consultation Session.

About this event

The Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves ('the JORC Code') is a professional code of practice that sets minimum standards for Public Reporting of minerals Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.

The Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) initiated an update to the Code to address issues identified in the application of the Code since it was last revised. The draft JORC Code will be available for a 3-month public feedback period from August to October via the JORC website.

JORC will present an overview of the draft JORC Code, including an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on any areas of change or interest.

AusIMM Sydney Branch and AIG will then host a short panel discussion with some key industry leaders and practitioners of the code after the official public consultation event ends.
