Launching in early April, this award-winning program offers support to NSW women in the mining and resources industry.

Are you looking for career guidance and directon?
Would you like to develop goals with someone who has been where you are now?
Are you interested in developing your mentoring and leadership skills?
Would you like to help others and contributing to the future success of the profession?
The WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program, now in our tenth year, aims to support
and retain women in the minerals industry as well as enhance career
progression. The Program pairs women seeking guidance and support with
more experienced practitioners who are willing to commit time and energy to
the professional development of another practitioner.
The WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program:
- Supports women from all parts of the minerals industry and at all
stages of career progression.
- Engages senior leaders of the industry (male and female) as mentors.
- Provides one-on-one, tailored mentoring in a structured program with
expertly matched, experienced industry mentors who are separated
from the mentee’s employer or place of work.
- Includes online platform with extensive resources and ready
- Additional professional development opportunities for mentees and
- Provides remarkable opportunities for networking and connection,
including in-person events.
Launch date: Program will begin with a launch event to be held on
Thursday, 4th April 2024.
Program schedule: Mid program and close-out networking events will also
be held in mid-August 2024 (in person) and early November 2024 (in
person), respectively. Dates are subject to change.
Cost: $1,000 (Plus GST)

We are excited to announce that there will be a number of fully funded
scholarship opportunities available!
Registrations close on Tuesday, 20 February 2024 – there will be no
extensions to this deadline.
Expressions of interest are still open for influential males and females from
the industry to participate as mentors, please also apply via above link.
