Join WIMnet NSW for their Leadership Day in Wollongong.

About this event

Following the success of previous sold-out WIMnet NSW Leadership Days, this year’s workshops aim to:

  1. Empower Attendees– Equip participants with the internal leadership skills necessary to advance into higher leadership positions.
  1. Develop Leadership Skills and Networks– Enhance leadership capabilities while fostering connections among women and men in the industry.

We’re excited to announce that the 2025 Leadership Day series will be held in three locationsOrangeWollongong, and the Hunter Valley. Each location will feature identical session content to ensure consistency in message, delivery, and outcomes. Attendees are welcome to join any location that suits their schedule.

Facilitator

The workshops will be facilitated by Julie Alexander, a leadership and business psychology expert known for her straight-talking, energising style. Julie’s sessions are practical, thought-provoking, and designed to leave participants with tools they’ll use immediately.

Her leadership program focuses on building courage, confidence, and connection, delivered through three core sessions. Key topics include:

  • Psychological Safety
  • Power and Influence
  • Strategic Influence and Navigating Organisational Politics

The day will conclude with a panel discussion featuring respected leaders from across the industry to reinforce the day’s learnings.

The Leadership Workshops will appeal to all current and aspiring leaders committed to diversity and inclusion and are targeted to those working in the mining sector.  All genders are highly encouraged to attend!
