Cleopatra: Courage, Wisdom and Vulnerability

About this event

The presentation will focus on women’s issues and women in leadership roles and will include:

  • A facilitated discussion with participants focusing on their initial thoughts and interpretations prior to providing knowledge of the painting (Former Senior Curator, Susie May).
  • Silent viewing
  • Overview of the painting (Susie May)
  • Questions and interactive activities focusing on women's issues and the qualities of good leadership, inspired by the painting. (Susie May)
  • Special guest presents specialist knowledge of one/two particular aspects of the painting in 15-minute talk. (Dr Ted Gott, NGV Senior Curator, International Art - if available).
  • Special guest takes questions from the audience.
