Where did you present your abstract?

AusIMM's Life of Mine Conference 2021.

Why did you decide to submit an abstract?

The work we had completed on MCA tool was potentially transferable to other operators, so we were keen to allow others to leverage our work and support good closure decision making. In addition, feedback on the tool from industry peers would enable us to improve.

What is your top reason for presenting?

Increasing the profile of applying standard decision support tools in closure context.

Can you sum up your abstract experience in a few words?

Valuable for us and industry.

Do you have any advice for those submitting an abstract?

Just do it!

If you want to add value and be a catalyst for change in our industry, submit an abstract and have your chance to present at AusIMM's Life of Mine Conference 2023. Abstracts close 6 February 2023.
