10 Things Every Geologist Needs to Know about Mineral Processing

Presented by experienced mineral processors, this interactive workshop helps geologists understand how mineralogy and rock characteristics influence processing performance. It explains key metallurgical terminology, testwork principles, and common industry conventions, enabling participants involved in exploration, geometallurgy, and project development to communicate more effectively with processing teams and make better-informed technical decisions.

This workshop is aimed at:

  • Early-career professionals who want to deepen their Early-career professionals looking to focus their development and build confidence in metallurgical concepts.
  • Managers and business leaders seeking clear insight into the opportunities and risks within the processing value chain.
  • Supervisors and team leaders wanting to ask sharper questions and better evaluate team performance.
