Andrea Maxey

Andrea Maxey joined AngloGold Ashanti in 2000 as Investor Relations Manager Australia after more than a decade as a journalist covering business and resources. With AngloGold Ashanti she spent time in IR and financial media relations, including a period in New York, before joining the Australia Region Leadership Team where she had accountability for corporate affairs, HR and community. Andrea was appointed to her current group role in early 2022.
Andrea has a BA in Psychology and post graduate qualifications in journalism and applied finance. She is a director of the Gold Industry Group in Australia and a former director of the Denver Gold Group.
