I am a geological engineer from Mexico, with 13 years in different areas, both in the public and private sectors working in geotechnics, exploration, diamond drilling and estimation of resources in mining projects, this being the area that I have worked the most for 11 years, estimating mainly iron deposits. I have also worked in the generation of technical reports in the analysis of resource and reserve declaration reports. Currently working in the mine, peña colorada working mainly in the estimation of lardo and short-term models for different mining projects.

Peña Colorada is a company dedicated to the exploration, exploitation and benefit of iron ore that satisfies the national steel industry. It has two operations centers: an open pit mine located in Minatitlán and a pelletizing plant located in Manzanillo, both municipalities of Colima. It belongs to ArcelorMittal and Ternium, each owning 50% of the shares.

The new industrial development of Peña Colorada strengthens the start of the steel value chain from the country. Thanks to this project, Mexicans
we can enjoy greater well-being by enjoying steel products, where iron ore is the
fundamental ingredient.

The mega investment of $263 million dollars from Peña Colorada arises to maintain the capacity of annual production of 4.5 million tons of
iron ore concentrate, managing to supply the demand of its shareholders and sole customers –ArcelorMittal and Ternium- and betting on the development of
locations where Peña Colorada and Mexico operate.

With this project, Peña Colorada advances from its commitment to develop modern mining, sustainable, safe and value-generating.
