Senior Exploration Geologist & Geochemist – Critical and Strategic Minerals
Senior Geologist and Geochemist with 19 years of experience in mineral exploration, applied geochemistry and mineral deposit characterisation. Specialist in critical and strategic mineral systems, with strong focus on Rare Earth Elements (LREE/HREE), including ionic adsorption clay (IAC) deposits, and experience with Li, Co, Nb, Ta, Sn, U–Th, Au, Fe, Mn, Cu and Ni. Proven ability to integrate field geology, geochemistry, analytical chemistry and radiometric (U–Th–K) datasets to support exploration targeting, technical reporting and early-stage project evaluation under JORC/CRIRSCO and NI 43-101 standards.
Professional background includes senior exploration and geochemical roles with multinational mining companies (Vale, AngloFerrous, Grupo Paranapanema, Grupo Minsur), covering greenfield and brownfield exploration, geological mapping, saprolite and fresh-rock sampling, drill core logging, geochemical interpretation, target generation and support to open-pit mining operations. Strong expertise in applied geochemistry, analytical methods (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, XRF, INAA), QA/QC, clay mineralogy (XRD, SEM-EDS) and REE behaviour during tropical weathering.
Author of peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Geochemical Exploration (Elsevier). BSc in Geology, Specialisation in Geochemistry, MBA. Eligible for AIG (MAIG), AusIMM (MAusIMM), CP (JORC) and QP (NI 43-101).

Company overview
MAGNES TERRAS RARAS LTDA, OBY CRITICAL MINERALS AND VERDE AGRITECH
I am engaged in the mineral exploration and project evaluation sector, working with multinational mining companies focused on critical and strategic minerals. My professional activities cover exploration geology, applied geochemistry and mineral deposit characterisation, with strong emphasis on Rare Earth Elements (LREE/HREE), including ionic adsorption clay (IAC) systems, as well as associated critical metals.
I have extensive experience in greenfield and brownfield exploration, geological mapping, saprolite and fresh-rock sampling, drill core logging, geochemical interpretation, QA/QC procedures and integration of geological, geochemical and radiometric (U–Th–K) datasets. My work supports target generation, technical reporting and early-stage project evaluation under JORC/CRIRSCO and NI 43-101 standards.
I have sufficient relevant experience, professional independence and technical competence to accept responsibility for exploration results and geological interpretations, consistent with the requirements of a Competent Person under the JORC Code.
