I am a highly experienced Senior Exploration Geologist with over 15 years of progressive expertise in mineral exploration across Sudan and Saudi Arabia, particularly within the Arabian-Nubian Shield. My work has focused on the discovery and development of orogenic gold, VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide), and porphyry Cu–Au deposits.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong technical leadership in both Greenfield and Brownfield exploration projects, including geological mapping, core and RC logging, geochemical sampling, 3D geological modeling, GIS, and QA/QC implementation. I have a deep understanding of project lifecycle management, from target generation to detailed drilling programs, while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
I have held senior positions with Al-Haytham Mining Company, Qatar Mining-Sudan (QMSD), and Kaldofan for Mining Co. Ltd., where I led multidisciplinary teams, managed exploration budgets, and facilitated successful stakeholder and community relations. I am also experienced in mentoring junior geologists and building high-performance field teams.
In addition to my technical background, I bring proficiency in geological software including Leapfrog, Micromine, Surpac, ArcGIS Pro, and Global Mapper. I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Earth Sciences and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Economic Geology at the University of Khartoum.
