Applications Now Open for the 2026 Mentoring Program
AusIMM is excited to announce that applications for the 2026 Mentoring Program are now open. This program, now in its 7th year, has become a trusted way for resources professionals to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and unlock their full potential.
At its core, mentoring is about connection and growth. It’s a two-way learning partnership that empowers professionals at all career stages to take ownership of their development. Through structured guidance and authentic conversations, mentees gain clarity, confidence, and practical strategies to navigate their careers. Mentors, in return, experience the reward of giving back, reflecting on their own journey, and gaining fresh perspectives.
A proven platform for impact
The 2025 program brought together 244 participants across Australasia, forming 122 mentor-mentee pairs. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 94% saying they built strong rapport with their mentoring partner, and 84% reporting that they were now on track to achieve their career goals.
Participants spoke of tangible changes such as improved communication, stronger resilience, and renewed confidence to pursue career aspirations.
