Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA)
The purpose of Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA) includes the promotion of professional and technical aspects of the energy geoscience industry throughout Australia. PESA’s main activities include the organisation of monthly technical meetings, ad hoc continuing education courses, field trips and social activities in each of the branches. PESA publishes a quarterly magazine, PESA News, and holds various conferences such as the Australian Exploration Geoscience Conference (AEGC), Central Australian Basins Symposium (CABS), Eastern Australian Basins Symposium (EABS) and Western Australian Basins Symposium (WABS).
