Transaction Journals - Technical papers for AusIMM Members
Introduction
The purpose of AusIMM is to advance the sciences applying to the minerals industry for the benefit of the community. This purpose is carried out, including through a) Conducting education and research, b) Facilitating the exchange of ideas and information, c) Encouraging the development and acquisition of knowledge and competency and other activities.
The Transaction Journals are one step towards fulfilling the purpose of the AusIMM, through providing members with access to a wealth of technical papers and offering the opportunity to publish for an international audience.
The AusIMM co-produces a range of peer-reviewed technical journals in collaboration with the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) in London. There are three journals in the series: Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy, Mining Technology, and Applied Earth Science. Four issues of each journal are published each year and AusIMM members can access articles from all three journals online free of charge. Providing high-quality technical content (including papers) for members on a range of topics is a cornerstone of our defining strategy to provide world-class professional development and connection for our members and global community of resources professionals.
Transaction Journal content.
To access the journals, members can visit the AusIMM website and log-in using their member details. A brief overview of each journal is below.
