Hunter Student Chapter: Students Meet Industry Night Event Recap

The AusIMM Hunter Student Chapter successfully hosted its annual Student Meets Industry Night on April 2nd at the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club. The event brought together over 100 passionate students and industry professionals for an evening of networking and insight into the mining industry.

We were honoured to welcome representatives from leading mining and metallurgy companies and societies including Whitehaven Coal, Glencore, Daracon, Xenith, Centennial Coal, Yancoal, Bengalla, the Australian Geomechanics Society, BHP, ANZ, and the Bloomfield Group.
