Tasmania Branch: Hellyer College Dux Award 2023

The AusIMM Tasmania Branch were please to sponsor the Hellyer College in Burnie, for the 'Dux of College 2023' - Set up by Tasmania Branch member John Carswell.

The award presentation niught wsas held at the Hellyer College on Thursday, 1 February 2024, and was attended by the John Stanton from the AusIMM Tasmania Branch, along with other local industry, council, association and government representatives.

The presentation night recongised excellence across many fields of college education and it was pleasing to see so many students achieve very high standards.

The Hellyer College Dux was Jessica Elphinstone who also achieved recognition across a number of awards, and was very worthy of her Dux achievement.

Jessica will go on to study nursing at Ballarat University.
