This paper is in two parts. The
first part provides background to coal in New Zealand, information on Solid
Energy the Company and details of the resources, mines and products of the
company. This part of the paper is intended for people who have limited
knowledge of the New Zealand coal scene. The second part of the paper focuses on
developments underway in New Zealand and discusses planned or possible changes
and opportunities.
This
