The Relationship Between Sintering Practice and Lead Blast Furnace Performance at Port Pirie
Relationships between lead blast furnace performance and the composition and size distribution of sinter were determined from analysis of lead blast furnace operating data. Sintering plant practice was subsequently modified and substantially improved furnace performance resulted.
