In April 2015, the multi-partner and multi-national European Commission funded R&D project Real-Time Mining was launched (No 641989). The main objective was the development of an innovative technical solution for resource-efficient and optimal high precision/selective mining in geologically complex settings. Real-Time Mining focused on the digitization of the grade streaming process and included research and technology development in the fields of autonomous positioning of mining equipment, spatially referenced real-time sensor-based monitoring, resource/grade control model updating together with decision and machine control optimization. Several components have been integrated into a holistic system to continuously update the grade control model and deliver decision support for sort-term planning and operational control. The system developed has been demonstrated in the polymetallic mine Reiche Zeche in March 2019. The focus on this contribution is the central constituent, which deals with the integration, management and visualization of the heterogeneous data sets from the different partners and work packages, which is the focus of this contribution.
