Iron Ore 2005

Add to cart
The iron ore industry is enjoying an unprecedented period of growth at present, fuelled by the burgeoning demand for iron ore in Asia, particularly China. In response to this growth, the theme of Iron Ore 2005 was Meeting the Challenge', which is being achieved by extracting more from existing resources, processes and equipment, and developing new ore resources and mines. The Conference brought together managers, operators and researchers involved in all aspects of the industry. The papers contained in this volume cover the areas of Geology and Ore Genesis, Ore Characterisation and Geostatistics, Mining, Grade Control, Processing and Operations and Economics.
