The Origins of Western Mining Corporation and Some of the Men Who Shaped It
During its 60 years of existence the growth and development of
Western Mining Corporation (WMC) has been greatly influenced
by the men who led it. For the most part they, rather than any
chance circumstances or good luck, determined the fortunes of
the Company. This paper is essentially a series of biographical
sketches of some of these men, together with a note of some of
the major events which caused WMC to become the entity it is
today.
