World's Best Practice in Mining and Processing Conference
The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy hosted the first in a series of World's Best Practice in Mining and Processing Conferences in Sydney Australia on 17-18 May 1995. The two-day conference facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences in achieving Best Practice. Presentations were made by a team of senior executives and led by the chief executive officers of selected Australian and overseas companies. The meeting included presentation of working papers and discussion by management on experiences with benchmarking implementation of continuous improvement and establishment of the competitive edge.
