Over the past decade, the Abandoned Mines Program (AMP), funded through the Mining Rehabilitation Fund, has evolved into a strategic initiative that not only addresses the safety and environmental risks posed by these legacy sites, but also actively engages with regional communities and Traditional Owners, aiming to deliver broader social and economic outcomes.
