Activating your website account

To activate your website account you will need to go through the ‘password reset’ process for your first time login. Please follow the steps below.

 

Step-by-step guide:

  • Click on ‘Login’ on the top right of the webpage
  • When prompted to login, click on ‘Forgot your password’
  • Enter the email address that you use for AusIMM and the current website and click on ‘Send verification code’
  • Check your email for the verification code and enter the code where prompted on the webpage
  • Once your email address is verified, enter your new password
  • Once password reset is complete you are now logged in and can start assessing the member dashboard and content
If you no longer have access to the email address used previously with AusIMM please contact our Member Services team who will be happy to assist in updating your details and provide instructions on how to activate your website account.
 
 

How to access your dashboard

One you are logged into www.ausimm.com, access your dashboard by clicking the profile image at the top right of the page. 

 

How to renew your AusIMM membership

On your dashboard, click on ‘My Details’ and then ‘Membership’ and a link for your renewal will be displayed if there is an item available for renewal. You can also click this link to access that page directly: https://ausimm.com/dashboard/my-details-page/Membership/

My Details – Personal Information

  • Your personal information has been migrated from our legacy system. Please check it is up to date.
  • Some new fields have been added and some information was unable to be migrated due to fundamental changes to the underlying data structure.  This information is optional, but will help us provide you with a more personalised experience. These fields include:
    • Organisation
    • Department
    • Position
    • Disciplines
    • Nature of work or study
    • Career stage
    • Diversity and inclusion

Please note: We are still in the process of migrating profile picture data.

 

My Details – Contact Information

Your contact information has been migrated from our legacy system.  Please check it is up to date.

 

My Details – Member Profile

  • This is where you can opt in to being included in the Member Directory, opt in to showing additional details about yourself in your public facing Member Profile, and opt in to being included on the Consultants Directory (if you meet the requirements).
  • We have updated our privacy terms for the Member Directory, Member Profile and Consultants Directory and are asking everyone to read and accept the current terms and opt in to being included in these public facing pages.
  • There are new fields available which will appear in your public facing Member Profile if you opt in, these include:
    • Personal bio
    • Company overview
    • LinkedIn details
    • Twitter details

 

My Details – Membership

  • Your key membership details can be found on this page and you are also able to print this page for confirmation of your membership.
  • You can renew your membership here or apply for a grade transfer.

 

My Interests – Areas of Interest

  • This is where you can indicate your topics of interest – this information is optional but will help us provide you with a more personalised experience.
  • As the structure of this data set changed fundamentally from our legacy system, we are encourage everyone to provide this information, even if you already selected your preferences on our old website.

 

My Interests – General Email Subscriptions

  • Your subscription preferences have been migrated from our legacy system.  Please check it is up to date.
  • This is where you can maintain your email subscription preferences for what we are calling our general mailing lists.  These including Professional Development, AusIMM News, Community News, the digital Bulletin, etc.

 

My Interests – Detailed Email Subscriptions

  • Your subscription preferences have been migrated from our legacy system.  Please check it is up to date.
  • This is where you can maintain your email subscription preferences for what we are calling our detailed mailing lists.  These are mailing lists for a specific Communities of Interest, conferences, etc.

 

PD Logbook

  • Your PD records with a completion date in the past 3 years have been migrated and are viewable here.
  • This is where you can maintain your PD information.
  • Should you need access to records outside this 3-year period, please contact AusIMM.

 

Order History

  • This is where you can access order history and invoices for transactions completed on the new website.
  • Should you need access to historical invoices, please contact AusIMM.
