Who should apply
You don’t need to have it all figured out. This scholarship is for students who are:
- Interested in the future of the resources and energy sector
- Curious about how mining can be safer, more sustainable and more innovative
- Getting involved in the mining industry, whether through study, student groups, or industry activities
- Keen to learn, grow and contribute over time
We strongly encourage applications from students in regional areas, from Indigenous backgrounds, or from communities that are underrepresented in the industry.
Eligibility
Before you apply, please check your eligibility. To be eligible, you must:
- Be studying at an Australian university
- Be enrolled in a relevant engineering or geoscience discipline
- Have working rights in Australia
- Maintain a credit average GPA
- Not be receiving another scholarship over $3,000 per year
