Terms and conditions
The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) (ABN 59 836 002 494), is the promoter of this competition and hereafter in the terms and conditions will be referred to as the ‘Promoter’.
By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to them.
Eligibility
• Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
• Both AusIMM members and non-members are eligible to enter.
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Promotional Period
• The competition opens 23 June 2026 and closes 25 June 2026 (Promotional Period).
• Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
How to Enter
• To enter, participants must scan the QR code provided at the Iron Ore | Open Pit Operators 2026 Conference and complete the entry form.
• Only one entry per person is permitted.
• Entries must include valid contact details.
Prize
• One (1) winner will receive a $200 gift card (or equivalent voucher as determined by the Promoter).
• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
• If the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
Draw and Notification
• The winner will be selected at random following the close of the Promotional Period.
• The draw will take place within 30 days after the event.
• The winner will be notified via the email address provided.
• If the winner has not responded within 7 business days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
Publication of Winner
• The winner’s name may be published on AusIMM communication channels, including AusIMM News or social media.
Liability
• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the competition or prize.
• The Promoter is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may prevent an entry from being received.
General Conditions
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if necessary.
• Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
