Which membership is right for you?

MEMBERSHIP GRADE	STUDENT	GRADUATE	NEW PROFESSIONAL	ASSOCIATE	MEMBER	FELLOW

AM I ELIGIBILE?	Full time undergraduates completing their first degree. Full time students completing a diploma, apprenticeship or certificate course with no previous work experience in the resources sector.	Undergraduate Student members upon their graduation. Graduates working in the first two years of their professional career, industry graduate program or internship. Post graduates with less than two years industry experience.	New Professionals in the 3rd - 5th year of their career in resources. Post graduates who have between 3-5 years industry experience.	Open to anyone with an interest in the resources sector who may not be eligible for our other membership grades. For people in the first five years of their career in resources without an undegraduate degree. For established professionals new to the resources sector (less than 5 years).	Professionals with a degree qualification and at least five years’ experience in the resources sector; OR Industry professionals with at least ten years’ experience working in the resources sector.	Professionals with a degree qualification and at minimum of ten years’ experience in the resources sector, at least five years of which have been at senior management or executive level; OR Have held a position of senior responsibility for a period of at least 15 years and during which have achieved distinction through personal contribution to science or industry.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?	Passport or Drivers Licence identification Current enrolment information. Advise expected date of completion of your studies.	Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification. A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL .	Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification. A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL .	Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL. .	Your degree details and/or a certified true copy of your tertiary degree in English (if relevant). Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification. A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL Names and contact details of two referees*.	Your degree details and/or a certified true copy of your tertiary degree in English (if relevant). A copy of your resume or LinkedIn profile URL showing at least ten years’ experience in the resources sector. A completed summary and statement of senior experience. Copy of your Passport or Drivers Licence photo identification. Names and contact details of three referees* (two of whom must be current Fellow Members)

*these referees must be professionals who have personal knowledge of the applicant. Acceptable professionals include Members & Fellows of the AusIMM or of any other professional association whose members are bound by a code of ethics; professionals authorised to witness Australian Commonwealth statutory declarations; and their international counterparts.
