Want to kick start your career in the mining industry? Student membership is the entry point for AusIMM membership for undergraduate students completing their first degree. |
Interested in building a long-term career in mining industry? Associate membership is suitable for first-year graduates, post graduate students, entry-level mining professionals, tradespeople and consultants working in resources industry.

Want to accelerate your mining career? Becoming a Member is ideal for industry professionals, managers and executives holding tertiary degrees with over 5 years’ industry experience OR technical operators, managers, and supervisors with over 10 years’ industry experience. |
Are you senior executive leading the industry? The prestigious Fellow member category suits senior executives with over 10 years’ industry experience and min. 5 years in senior roles OR senior professionals with min. 15 years’ experience and making outstanding contributions to industry. |
