What is the Conference Organising Committee looking for in an abstract?

The Committee is looking for papers that showcase new technologies, process development, project development, ESG or market insights. We want to be taken on the journey – how you or your company got to be where you are – be it success or failure. How did you overcome your problems? We are also looking for abstracts that bridge gaps between the narrow boundaries around commodities, disciplines and value-chain positions.

Stephen is CEO and MD with Queensland Pacific Metals who are developing the Townsville Energy Chemicals Hub project. He most recently sat on Clean TeQ’s ExCo where he was Chief Technical Development Officer.  Prior to that, Stephen worked with Rio Tinto where he was Chief Advisor - Processing, having global responsibility for Rio Tinto’s process development, operations technical support and investment advice.  Before that, he worked with BHP where he was Global Technology Manager - Minerals Separation & Hydrometallurgy.
