Presentation
The Mining Data Stream
The presentation focuses on enhancing data quality and operational efficiency through connected systems. It highlights the inefficiencies of current data sharing methods, such as email and manual processes, and the reliance on disconnected systems that lead to data silos, errors, and delayed decision-making.
Key points include:
- Theoretical framework for the mining data stream.
- Best practices for integrated data systems, including standardised file types, automated data retrieval, robust data security, and scalable infrastructure.
- Practical integration of raw data to resource models using SQL databases and file datalakes.
- Recommendations to get started such as focussing on small, high-impact use cases, standardising data, automating workflows, and gradually scaling while continuously optimising.
