Join the vanguard of professional integrity: call for expressions of interest for Professional Conduct and Ethics Committee members
AusIMM invites passionate and dedicated Fellows or Honorary Fellows to express their interest in joining the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) or Ethics Committee (EC).
Championing professional excellence
At AusIMM, we pride ourselves on upholding the highest standards of professional practice and ethics. This commitment is the cornerstone of our reputation and the trust we inspire within the industry and the community.
Why your contribution matters
Professional Conduct Committee (PCC)
- Be actively engaged in the maintenance of professional and ethical standards.
- Review and assess matters of alleged non-compliance with Professional Codes and/or the AusIMM Code of Ethics.
- Play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of professional integrity and accountability.
Ethics Committee (EC)
- Handle referrals from the PCC for more serious matters, and appeals of PCC determinations.
- Hold members accountable to our stringent ethical guidelines.
- Uphold the principles that make AusIMM a leader in the stewardship of professional standards.
We are looking for AusIMM Fellows or Honorary Fellows with a strong commitment to fairness, transparency and resolution who will work with peers in a collaborative setting and apply principles of self-regulation in a way that not only enhances the Institute’s commitment to professional standards, but also ensures a just and equitable process for all parties involved.
While the current membership of both committees has experience in a breadth of areas, operational knowledge in the following areas would complement the existing skills set while maintaining a balance in composition that faithfully reflects our member community.
