Health and Safety Society July 2026: Committee Updates

The committee is planning a recorded discussion with broader committee participation to draw out practical themes that can be shared with the wider Health and Safety Society membership.

A proposed follow-up webinar will be selected from the strongest themes emerging from that committee discussion, with the aim of building momentum ahead of the October conference.

Committee members are progressing discussions on AusIMM award nominations, including recognition of sustained contributions to mine health and safety research, practice, and industry leadership.

We are aiming to improve our communication cadence so that members hear more regularly from the committee - not only about events, but also about the issues we believe deserve industry attention.
