The outbreak of COVID-19, and the resultant social distancing laws are impacting almost every aspect of our lives. We sincerely hope that you and your family are keeping safe during this challenging time. Like the rest of society the Central Victoria Branch of the AusIMM is adjusting to the restrictions applied to help manage the outbreak.
To keep our members and their families safe and to comply with social distancing laws, all planned CV branch events have been postponed until further notice. We are committed to running these events in the future, once the threat of COVID-19 has passed, and will update members with the new dates as soon as this information is available.
We understand that these events provide valuable opportunities for networking within the local mining and exploration community. The culture of camaraderie and peer support that has been built within our branch of the AusIMM is of great importance to our members. The AusIMM Management Team has been working to develop an online platform through GoToWebinar. We will use this in turn to host digital webinars throughout this period.
In the interim though, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the Committee if we may be of assistance, or if you have ideas for a digital event or talk.
