A Revised Stratigraphic Framework for the McArthur Basin, NT
Current regional geoscientific studies across the McArthur Basin
as part of the National Geoscience Mapping Accord by the
Northern Territory Geological Survey and Australian Geological
Survey Organisation have provided a significant amount of new
data which has enabled revision of the stratigraphic and
chronologic framework of the basin. This paper provides an
overview of these results, with particular emphasis on new results
from Arnhem Land.
