The webinar will introduce the AusIMM’s newest Professional Certificate in ESG and Social Responsibility, commencing in early August. The course and the webinar will examine environment, social and governance performance through a lens of critical thinking and authentic resource sector experience.

Webinar and course participants will gain an:

- Understanding of ESG concepts and emerging expectations, particularly regarding corporate risk and project financing
- Introduction to tools and techniques to analysis ESG risk and materiality
- Understanding of how to minimise ESG-related harm and maximise value to resource enterprises and their affected communities and broader society
- Understanding of why ESG performance accountability needs to occur on a whole-of-business basis across all functional divisions and leadership roles in a resource enterprise
