Urban Mining: Direct Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling Process

The world is experiencing exponential market growth for lithium-ion batteries. The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is focused on developing a sustainable direct lithium-ion battery recycling process to recover the battery metals directly and selectively through an advanced sorting and disassembly process. Other metals are selectively leached and separated using leaching and solvent-extraction technologies. In this webinar, learn how spent battery recycling can help to close the enlarging gap between demand and supply, as well as reduce the environmental footprint.
